What is AJAX DOORPROTECT?
DoorProtect is a wireless door and window opening detector designed for indoor use. It runs for up to 7 years on the pre-installed battery and is fitted with a sealed reed relay contact rated for over a million openings. It has an input for connecting an external detector.
DoorProtect works as part of the Ajax security system and connects to the hub over the secure Jeweller protocol. Communication range: up to 1200 metres with no obstacles. The detector can also be used as part of a third-party security control panel through the uartBridge or ocBridge Plus integration modules.
The detector is configured through a mobile app for iOS and Android smartphones. The user is notified of all events via push notifications, SMS messages and calls (if enabled).
The Ajax security system is self-sufficient, but the user can also connect it to the alarm receiving centre (ARC) of a private security company.
