Yes. We live here and cover all of Benalmádena: Arroyo de la Miel, Benalmádena Costa, Torremuelle, Torrequebrada and Puerto Marina. If it is urgent because someone tried to break in, we come within 24 h. We usually install within 2-3 days. We book on WhatsApp and come round. We are local, we do not drive over from Málaga to quote.

No small print. €295 is a fixed price with VAT included. It covers: the Ajax Hub, 1 motion detector, 1 magnetic door contact, 1 key fob, 1 indoor siren, the outdoor warning sign, full installation and training so you can use the app.

If your home needs more sensors, I tell you on WhatsApp with photos and give you a fixed price before we come. No surprises.

Yes. It is one of the main reasons people call us in Benalmádena Costa. The Ajax anti-squatter setup works like this: a powerful outdoor siren plus detectors on doors and windows. If anyone tries to force entry, the siren goes off immediately and you get an alert with a photo on your phone. Most squatters leave as soon as they hear the alarm. You control everything from your phone, whether you are in London or in Norway.

You call me, directly on WhatsApp. As a local installer in Benalmádena I give you real after-sales service: if a sensor fails, I come and replace it. The Ajax system has a backup battery for 16 h without mains power and warns you of any tampering. You do not depend on a call centre or on shipping the equipment abroad. I am 10 minutes away.

So you do not depend on Wi-Fi alone, we can fit a backup Ajax SIM card. If your power or Wi-Fi is cut, the alarm keeps working and keeps alerting your phone over the mobile network. The SIM costs €36 a year with no contract. Your home stays protected even during a blackout.

The hub is the brain of the system: it coordinates all the detectors and sends notifications in real time. The most common models are:

• Hub (2G): the basic, most affordable model. Not compatible with MotionCam photo detectors, but still a reliable choice for small installations.
• Hub 2 (2G): adds photo verification with camera detectors. Ethernet connection and up to 2 SIM cards (2G). Manages up to 100 devices.
• Hub 2 (4G): the recommended and best-selling model. Faster, more stable 4G connectivity, MotionCam compatible, Ethernet + 2 SIM cards (4G), up to 100 devices.
• Hub 2 Plus: the most advanced version: up to 200 devices, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and 2 SIM cards (4G). Designed for large installations.
• Hub Superior (Grade 3): EN 50131 Grade 3 certified, required in jewellers, pharmacies and high-value businesses. Dual processor and dual radio, jamming detection in under 30 s, quadruple communication (Ethernet + Wi-Fi + 2 SIM cards from different operators), 200 devices and 60 security groups.

Our recommendation: for new installations, choose the Hub 2 with 4G/LTE. The 2G version may become limited as that network is phased out.

No. We install electronic security systems without an alarm receiving centre: the alarm alerts you directly (and anyone you choose) on your phone, with photos and instant notifications. That is why there are no monthly fees. If you later want to connect the system to a monitoring centre, Ajax allows it.
