Description
Ajax AJ-COMBIPROTECT-W - Combined wireless glass break and motion detector. The device helps protect the room from intruders entering through doors or windows and monitors the condition of the glass.
CombiProtect is a device that combines a wireless motion detector with an 88.5° viewing angle and a range of up to 12 metres with a glass break detector with a range of up to 9 metres. It can ignore animals and detects people as soon as they enter the protected area. It can run for up to 5 years on the pre-installed battery and is for indoor use.
CombiProtect works as part of the Ajax security system and connects to the Ajax hub via the Jeweller security protocol. It has a communication range of 1200 metres with no obstacles. The detector can also be used as part of third-party security control panels via the Ajax uartBridge or Ajax ocBridge Plus integration modules.
The detector is configured through a mobile app for iOS and Android smartphones. The user is notified of all events via push notifications, SMS messages and calls (if enabled).

The device combines the functions of two detectors: a motion detector and a glass break detector. It detects motion at a distance of up to 12 metres and breaking glass at a distance of up to 9 metres from the window.

The device detects motion even in hot climates thanks to temperature compensation. It filters out false alarms caused by thunder, barking or the noise of passing lorries.
