MotionCam Outdoor recognises an intrusion from the first steps into the area and confirms it with an animated series of photos. Visual verification helps assess the situation instantly, sparing users unnecessary worry and alarm receiving centres unnecessary call-outs.
Smart false alarm filter
MotionCam Outdoor is equipped with two independent PIR sensors whose signals are analysed by a two-step LISA algorithm. As soon as both sensors detect motion, LISA runs correlation analysis and spectral analysis of the signals, which helps distinguish real threats from interference instantly.
Multi-level sabotage protection
MotionCam Outdoor cannot be disabled unnoticed, even when the system is disarmed. The detector is equipped with masking sensors that react to the lens being blocked, covered or painted over.
The hub will take less than a minute to detect the loss of communication with the detector and report the problem to an alarm receiving centre and to users. Any attempt to disable MotionCam Outdoor will be known instantly.
Effective security in any weather
MotionCam Outdoor withstands heat up to +60 °C and cold down to –25 °C. And to protect the anti-masking sensors from rain and snow, we have provided a special Hood.
Uncompromising communication reliability
MotionCam Outdoor uses two secure radio protocols simultaneously: Jeweller and Wings. The radio protocols work independently of each other, each focused on its own task. Jeweller transmits alarms in 0.15 seconds, and thanks to Wings, the first photo from the site will be in the app in under 9 seconds.
The radio signal range is enough to install the detector wherever it will be most effective. And up to 3 years of battery life keeps maintenance to a minimum.
Note: MotionCam Outdoor requires Hub 2 or Hub 2 Plus to operate.
