Description
Professional AJAX intruder alarm system with two-way wireless communication.
A complete wireless alarm system for professional installations in both residential and commercial settings. Communication is via Ethernet and/or GPRS. The supervised two-way link with detectors and accessories uses radio frequency on Ajax's own Jeweller protocol in the 868 MHz band, and the devices in the kit are Grade 2 certified.
The wireless link is highly reliable thanks to the advanced Jeweller protocol with high-security AES encryption. The exclusive instant, intelligent supervision system detects signal jamming by identifying a set period of inactivity, and at the same time cuts maintenance costs by considerably extending detector battery life without compromising security. The wireless signal can cover distances of up to 2 km in open air. It also includes features that make installation easier, such as the SmartBracket mount and simple pairing of detectors with the alarm system.
It supports up to 100 wireless zones, which can be grouped into up to 9 different groups on which arming, partial arming and disarming can be performed. These Ajax wireless devices offer a range of possible configurations, such as 24-hour zone or zone with entry/exit delay.
The AJ-HUB-W panel has an AC 110-250 V power input plus a rechargeable backup battery lasting up to 15 hours.
Ethernet communication is its main advantage for remote access, both for the user and for the installer, as it allows connection through the AJAX PRO Desktop PC software and the iOS and Android mobile apps Ajax Security Systems (end user) and AJAX PRO: Tool for Engineers (professionals). With these apps you can configure the entire system, manage users and their permissions, add devices, group them into rooms and change their settings. Cloud use is compatible with dynamic IP addresses with no need to open ports. Ajax users enjoy many advantages, receiving reliable, instant notifications in both the desktop software and the mobile apps.
The kit includes the Ajax Hub AJ-HUB-W control panel, an AJ-DOORPROTECT-W magnetic contact, an AJ-MOTIONPROTECT-W motion detector and an AJ-SPACECONTROL-W key fob.
